Calici Euganei 2025: Arquà Petrarca welcomes back magical wine nights under the stars, with music and flavours from the Euganean Hills

From 8 to 10 August 2025, one of the most popular events of the Venetian summer will be back: Calici Euganei, nights dedicated to wine, good food and the beauty of the area, which will take place in the heart of the medieval village of Arquà Petrarca, the pearl of the Euganean Hills and one of the most charming villages in Italy.

Organised along the Euganean Hills Wine Route, the event is designed to promote the region's excellent wines and gastronomy, involving wineries, local producers and tour operators in an event with a strong cultural, food and wine and landscape appeal.

An event combining wine, history and traditions

For three evenings, from 8 p.m. to midnight, the historic centre of Arquà Petrarca will be transformed into an open-air sensory itinerary: along the festively lit streets, visitors will be able to taste wines from the Colli Euganei wineries, from the well-known Fior d'Arancio DOCG to refined DOC reds and whites, accompanied by typical dishes, artisan products and gourmet street food.

The wineries will offer the public the opportunity to meet the producers directly, learn about the history of each label and discover unusual food and wine pairings.

The 2025 edition will be enriched with new initiatives designed for a diverse audience:

• Astronomical observations with the participation of amateur astronomers, who will guide attendees on a journey of discovery through the summer sky, among constellations and wishes for San Lorenzo;
• Hiking and cycling excursions along the scenic trails of the Euganean Hills, organised in collaboration with local guides;
• Dinner among the vineyards, with limited places, for a unique experience among the rows of vines, immersed in the silence of nature;
• Live music and travelling shows, which will accompany the tastings with relaxing or more lively atmospheres;
  Equipped children's area, with creative workshops, games and entertainment for the little ones.

Calici Euganei is not only a convivial event, but also an opportunity to promote the landscape, historical and cultural heritage of the Euganean Hills. Arquà Petrarca, with its stone houses, flower-filled squares and the ancient home of the poet Francesco Petrarca, is the ideal setting for an event that celebrates slowness, taste and the beauty of conviviality.

The initiative is supported by Strada del Vino Colli Euganei, promoted by the Coordinamento Strade del vino e dei prodotti tipici del Veneto (Veneto Wine and Local Products Coordination) in collaboration with local authorities, associations and producers.
