Strada del Conegliano Valdobbiadene
A JOURNEY THROUGH LANDSCAPES OF TASTE AND BEAUTY
In the heart of the Veneto hills, there is a route that is much more than just a road: it is an experience, a story, a promise. It is the Prosecco and Wines Route of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Hills, officially established in 2003 as the successor to the historic White Wine Route, inaugurated in 1966 and Italy's first wine route.
Today, this iconic route has been revamped and expanded: alongside the original route, three new themed routes have been introduced, designed to fully showcase the richness of the area, from its unique wine-growing landscapes to the artistic, cultural and environmental heritage scattered across the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
Its approximately 90 kilometres wind through vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see, historic villages, churches, hermitages and castles, all bearing witness to the long wine-making history of these lands.
At every turn, scenes of extraordinary beauty unfold: rolling hills, neat rows of vines climbing the slopes, farmhouses that preserve the rural architecture of yesteryear. It is a harmonious landscape, shaped by man with respect, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.
To enrich the experience, Strada del Conegliano Valdobbiadene that intertwine with the main itinerary, allowing visitors to choose the itinerary that best suits their passions:
